MALVERN has a myriad of problems - drugs, the biggest potholes anywhere, elderly folk stolen from, vandalism, litter, shop windows continuously broken, plus ram raiding, to name a few. But none of this is of much interest according to the letters to the editor. The main worry to the people of Malvern is dog dirt.
Fortunately, no-one in Malvern will ever need the help of a dog, not dogs for the blind, dogs for the hard of hearing, dogs to find people on a bombsite or in an avalanche situation, nor dogs to sniff out drugs and illegal immigrants and not least to need the company of a dog which so many lonely people depend on for company. There are no bad dogs just bad owners.
So go to it Malvern. Worry, worry, worry and write your interminable letters about dog dirt but not about anything that really matters.
H M ADAMS, Pickersleigh Road, Malvern.
