OBVIOUSLY there has been a pigeon cull in Malvern.
I would like to know what method was used as we had some distressing scenes in this area before Christmas with pigeons injured and bleeding having been shot with a small calibre pellet - not enough to kill them outright - so that they died a slow and painful death.
Now the shooting has started again, one bird dead the other one taken to the vet, who fortunately was able to save it. Now I am also seeing birds with injured legs and feet. To date there is a dove, pigeon, magpie, jackdaw and crow, who hobble about when foraging for grubs etc.
Who is this person? It is illegal to discharge a gun over public ground and as we are mostly elderly in this area we fear for ourselves, children and pets.
The police have been informed but cannot act without positive identification so if you know anyone who has a gun report it to the police.
