THE clock at Great Malvern station is due to be back in working order within two weeks.
The platform clock, which has been broken for a number of years, was removed for restoration several weeks ago.
Although repairs had been planned early last year, vandalism at other Worcestershire stations saw a delay in finding funds to pay for the work.
Central Trains spokesman Gerard Burgess confirmed that repairs were now underway by Malvern clock restorer Richard Manning.
He said: "Because it's an old fashioned clock it has to sit there for days and days being regulated to ensure it keeps time."
It is estimated that repairs will cost about £1,200, although a mystery benefactor has offered to pay as a tribute to her brother.
Horologist Mr Manning said: "The clock is due to go back in the week beginning June 24. It's a fine example of mid 19th century engineering.
"Because of its exposed location and the fact that it's getting on for 150 years old, it's something which will require periodic maintenance."
