DROITWICH Rugby Club held it's annual school tag rugby tournament this week for years three and four.
Ten school teams entertained spectators with some thrilling rugby throughout the afternoon.
Teams included Westlands, St Peters, St Josephs, Hindlip, Ombersley, Upton Snodsbury, Defford Cum Besford, Bengeworth & Chawson.
The teams were split into two groups, with each team playing everyone in their group throughout the afternoon. The top team from each group then played each other in the final.
This year's final was between Chawson and Bengeworth with Chawson taking the honours in a close game.
Bengeworth took an early 10 - 0 lead only to see Chawson come back strongly to win 20-15 in the last minute of the game.
All the teams involved received some balls donated by the RFU while the two finalists received a bag of tag belts donated by Droitwich Rugby Club & the RFU.
Worcester Rugby Club's former Scottish international fly-half Craig presented the winners shield to Chawson.
Any children who wish to learn how to play Tag Rugby (boys & girls) are welcome to attend training sessions at Droitwich Rugby Club's Hanbury Road ground on Wednesday evenings between 7-8.30pm.
