TO an extent, I agree with some of the comments made in the Phillpott File (Evening News, June 10).
However, the question should be asked - why are nightclubs allowed on an industrial site where the best access is by way of a footpath through the nearby housing estate?
This concentrates any noise and nuisance factor many times.
I came to live in Worcestershire from Birmingham having been employed at Aston University for many years.
The students there, even 20 years ago, were no different to those of today. It is just the actions of the few who give the rest a bad name.
Once you begin to blame one section of the community, the whole picture begins to become distorted.
What about vandalism and groups of youngsters doing wheelies on supermarket car parks? I bet they couldn't come from nice quiet suburbs such as leafy Hardwicke Grove - they must be students!
