WELL done, England's footballers. You're doing a great job - keep it up.
Thanks, Your Majesty, for the last 50 years. Here's to many more as our monarch.
Whether we're football fans or royalists or neither, it's a great feeling to fly our national flag, to sing and cheer for our country, to feel as one as a nation, irrespective of colour, creed or religion. We really must do it more often.
So don't put away the Union Jacks or flags of St George, leave them flying. Tell the world we're proud of our nation all the time, not just during sporting or royal events. Go to Scotland, Wales or Ireland and you'll see their national flag everywhere.
However, in England, we're a little coy in case people think we're a bit racist or "right-wing" - whatever that is supposed to mean.
The message to those politicians from all parties who are trying to break up our nation and offer it piece by piece to a "higher authority" called the EU, is that the nation belongs to its people, not to its politicians. So hands off.
