JOGGING around the Pitchcroft racecourse is just one of the activities helping Worcester workers get in shape for this year's Race for Life.
Twenty-two members of staff from Tarkett Sommer have donned their trainers to join thousand's of other women across Worcestershire in raising money for Cancer Research UK in tomorrow's event.
Staff member Kelly Maiden decided to organise sponsorship within the firm and soon persuaded nearly every worker to sign up.
After several training sessions, including going down the local gym, the women feel they are ready to have a go at the 5km course.
"We've got the training packs, the T-shirts, so we're ready for this event," said worker Louise Shorthouse.
"I think half of us will be attempting to run the course. Lots of the staff are very active and fit."
Race for Life co-ordinator Amanda Smith said more than 4,000 people had so far signed up to take part in the Worcester event.
"We have more than doubled last year's figure. We switched the event to the city because it had simply outgrown the Pitchcroft playing fields," said Amanda Smith.
"I hope the weather will be fine, and I'm sure the great spirit on the day should get everybody through the finishing line."
More than 220,000 fund-raisers are taking part in 100 events across Britain to try and raise £12m for cancer research.
The circular route in Worcester begins at 11am in Copenhagen Street and finishes at the Guildhall.
