MY little boy, Ben, also attended the kindergarten at Chedworth Drive on Thursday and Friday afternoons.
He did not attend last Thursday because he had chickenpox and we then had a telephone call on Friday morning to say that the nursery had been closed down.
We, too, were told that this was due to a wages dispute and not staffing issues, as was reported by Mr Dutton.
I would like to pledge my support to all of the staff at the Chedworth nursery. They were excellent in their care for Ben, and I am very sad that he will not get a chance to say thank you to them for their hard work and dedication to all the children who attended.
I am also sad that Ben will not get to see the many friends he has made since attending the nursery and he did not even get a chance to say goodbye to them.
KELLY PRICE,
Cranham Drive, Worcester.
