THE focus will be on cycling and recycling this coming week at the Bishops Wood Environment Centre.
Bishops Wood, near Stourport-on-Severn, is doing its bit for National Bike Week, which lasts until Friday.
A different theme will take place nightly, aimed at encouraging people to ditch their car and opt for two wheels instead.
Events include a bike doctor offering advice on cycle maintenance, a bird watching trip on bikes and a barbecue night.
"Because we're an environmentally-friendly centre, we have to put our money where our mouth is, so to speak. So we've fully embraced the ethos of National Bike Week," said Bob Green, the centre's deputy head.
