"EXTREMELY arrogant" and "unlikely to last more than a week", was how pub regulars described Big Brother's Tim Culley.
Tim has already admitted his biggest fear is that the public will see him as an "arrogant toff".
Unfortunately, that seems to be the view of many of the locals who have met him.
"I've only met him a few times, but he comes across as thinking he is the bee's knees," said one regular at the Kings Head, in Upton.
"The last time I saw him was around Christmas in the Swan. He comes across as an extremely arrogant person.
"From what I can gather, he seems nothing like his father, who is very down-to-earth and an extremely nice bloke."
Other regulars said they had only seen him in the town on a few occasions.
"I was talking to one of the girls in the town who had met him in the Swan. She said he loved himself," said another punter in the King's Head.
Despite some doubters, bar worker at The Swan Hotel, Tim Tyler, said he believed Tim, being a bit of a lady's man, could go all the way and win the show.
"I've only met him a few times and he seems very placid," said Mr Tyler.
"I think he'll let most things just roll over him, so I think he's got the attitude to go out and win.
"He'll just have to see if he can win over the public."
Mr Tyler described Tim on a night out as being a bit of a lad.
Commenting on his "pulling rate" with the ladies he only gave the slightest of hints.
"Let's just say he was more successful than me," he said.
