A PRISON, a residential home and a hospital have been recognised in the latest round of food hygiene awards dished out by Wychavon District Council.
Winners of the Seal of Excellence Awards include Long Lartin Prison, Fladbury Butchers, Vale of Evesham School, Abbey Butchers at Pershore Retail Market, Niclare Fine Foods Ltd, Pershore, Greenhill Park Residential Home, Evesham, and Badsey Butchers, Evesham Community Hospital, Ranch Caravan Park, Honeybourne, Icycle Tricycle, Childswickham, and Evesham Service Station, Pershore Road.
The criteria include premises designed to permit good hygiene practices, systems in place for safe food handling, exceptionally high standards of cleaning, food handlers with good personal cleanliness and hygiene training and suitable pest control measures.
