SUPPORTERS of the England World Cup team in Hereford are being urged not to break the law when Sven's men play Brazil in the quarter-finals on Friday.
The plea comes from police, who are asking everyone to enjoy the match, but not let their emotions spill over into disorder.
During the afternoon of the match against Denmark on Saturday, June 15, police have revealed they made a number of arrests in Hereford city centre for drunk and disorderly behaviour.
This Friday, Hereford police will be making sure the city remains an enjoyable place to visit and are asking football fans to behave themselves following the match, regardless of the outcome.
"We want everyone to enjoy the match to the full, but it is also important that those celebrating, or otherwise, in public areas keep on the right side of the law," said Chief Insp Shane Hancock.
"By all means soak up the atmosphere, but go steady on the alcohol and have some consideration for other people out enjoying Hereford city."
