LEGS 11 rider Kelvin Reilly put a troublesome start to the season behind him with his highest finish at Brands.
Reilly, lead rider for the Redditch-based team, qualified 15th after the team rebuilt an engine which had blown at Snetterton in the previous round.
And the Legs star finished in the middle of five riders chasing ninth place to boost morale after teammate Rhys Boyd had crashed out.
Boyd is set for five weeks on the treatment table after crashing out and causing £1,000 worth of damage to his bike.
The Legs 11 number two qualified in style but suffered a false neutral during the race, with his bike dropping out of gear when he shifted from fifth to fourth and losing his engine braking with catastrophic results.
He is set for an exploratory operation on a trapped nerve in his back after tackling the Rockingham oval.
The injury has dogged him for two years and he is set to miss only the Knockhill meeting.
