PACEMAN Alamgir Sheriyar was among three Worcestershire bowlers who picked up two wickets each on the opening day of the Second Eleven Championship match against Warwickshire at Ombersley yesterday.
He took 2-48 while Depesh Patel and Matthew Rawnsley picked up 2-40 and 2-34 respectively to help remove Warwickshire, who won the toss, for 206 in 70.2 overs.
Their tally was boosted by 71 from Junil Hassan who cracked nine fours off 144 deliveries.
By the close last night the County's reply stood at 95-2.
