AN innovative company is working with young people across the town as part of a scheme to develop young audiences.
Green Ginger, which has worked with the likes of Spitting Image and Jim Henson, of Muppets fame, will be working with youngsters at Redditch high schools prior to them attending a performance at the Palace Theatre next week.
Lifesize puppet workshops will be held, incorporating puppets that look like teenagers and lip sync and timing skills as well as general focus, observation and comedy.
The show, Bambi - The Wilderness Years, is a European co-production with Norwegian Agder Teater and Kleine Spui Produkties from the Netherlands.
It is aimed at 12 to 17 year olds and adults and forms part of Palace Theatre plans to build up strong relationships with young people in the region.
Performances are at 2pm next Wednesday and Thursday and 7pm on Thursday.
Tickets are free to anyone aged 18 or under or £4.50 to the Thursday evening performance from the Tourist Information Centre or the box office on 65203.
