Two star
The film lived down to the title.
An hour and 20 minutes of nothing more than secrets and plots that you know won't lead anywhere, much like any X Files episode, but a feature-length one.
In fact it was hard not to start messing with the language selection just to see Gillian Anderson badly dubbed in German - sheer comedy.
Unfortunately by not having the pleasure of watching the first two instalments of this series, Deadalive and Existence, there was no comparison.
Now to the plot, Agent Dogget (the bad guy out of Terminator 2) with his fellow agent, Reyes, is investigating the deputy director of the FBI when they stumble upon a plan by the government to make super soldiers who are by all accounts indestructible.
This interests agent Scully after her baby shows signs of weird behaviour like making his cot mobile spin without touching it - could her baby be a super soldier?
Unless you're a hardcore X Files fan it's just not worth the effort.
