CHILDREN from village schools in Bromsgrove flocked to Belbroughton for an insight into the work of William Shakespeare.
The Young Shakespeare Company, which is based in London, gave two interactive performance of Twelfth Night at Belbroughton First School. The Bradford Lane venue invited year four children from first schools in Blackwell, Lickey End, Romsley, Clent, Dodford and Fairfield to attend the shows.
This week they will see the play performed again at Solihull Arts Complex.
School secretary Jayne Jones said: "Our pupils had a wonderful time and they loved welcoming students from nearby schools.
"Everybody had a play on the school field and we served biscuits and squash for our guests."
