STUDLEY CC skipper Mark Lewis goes into Saturday's match against Hampton knowing his side could be top of the Division Two East table at the end of the day.
An up and down start has been followed by an impressive resurgence in form which has seen the Washford Fields side climb to third.
With a third of the season down, Lewis' side are looking at the top end of the table after a disappointing campaign last year.
With Water Orton leapfrogging Kings Heath at the top in the weekend top-of-the-table clash, Studley gained ground on the promotion picture with a 78-run win over Four Oaks Saints.
Brandon Miller smashed 84 with the captain adding 74no lower down the order as Studley amassed a winning 207 total.
Lewis' men take on third from bottom Hampton at the weekend (1pm start).
The demise of newly-promoted Solihull Municipal means there could be no relegation from Division Two East this season, depending on promotion/relegation issues further up the levels.
