REDDITCH are on a roll after a double success saw them advance in the Birmingham League knockout and climb the Division Two West table.
Nev Mason's side were on a high after knocking arch rivals Bromsgrove out of the cup last week for the second year running.
After beating higher league Worcester in the first round, Redditch continued their impressive form in the competition by taking another Division One scalp.
The Bromsgrove Road side reached the semi finals last season but their giantkilling credentials will be tested with a trip to Premier Division strugglers Halesowen tonight (Wednesday, 6.30pm start).
Last year's cup heroics coincided with a downturn in league results but this year's run has gone hand in hand with Birmingham League form which has seen Mason's side climb to fifth in the table, 40 points behind leaders Wroxeter and Uppingham.
17-year-old Richard Stokes gave his captain food for thought by notching 101 on Sunday as Redditch beat Halesowen by two runs, to press for inclusion at home to fourth placed Wednesbury on Saturday (1pm start).
The match is crucial to Redditch's league hopes and with just one point dividing the sides Mason knows a win could hoist Redditch to the giddy heights of third.
Chris Gibson and Chris Taylor are ruled out for tonight's cup clash but Mason is expecting to pick from a full strength side for the weekend.
