ASTWOOD Bank are preparing for a Worcestershire League Cup semi final against neighbours Feckenham after sailing into the last four by playing only one game.
The Division One strugglers had byes in the opening two rounds before beating fellow Division One outfit Pershore in Round Three.
They were all set for a home quarter final against Third Division Highley when their opponents declined to travel, setting up a clash with Division Two rivals Feckenham.
Bank have home advantage next Wednesday (6.15pm start) and play a division higher but their form at the foot of Division One contrasts with their lower division opponents.
The twice-promoted side had a fillip at the weekend with an impressive last ball win over high-flying Chaddesley Corbett which lifted them off the bottom by two points.
The Sambourne Lane side went into the match propping up the table and banked a precious 20 points.
But with fellow strugglers Hagley and Bromyard winning, the success was limited but saw Bank gain ground on the bottom half of the table.
The Bank entertain second placed Pedmore (2pm start) knowing defeat could see them fall behind in the survival battle.
Paul Boycott is on holiday but Stefan Jagielski, who hit 140 for the seconds at the weekend, and Sam Churchley are on standby.
