ALVECHURCH are set to benefit from the addition of two more players from Solihull Municipal ahead of Saturday's trip to lowly Alveley.
The Worcestershire Division Three side handed debuts to bat Jimmy Clifford and all rounder John Rose in Saturday's win over Birlingham following the demise of the side propping up Birmingham League Division Two East.
And captain Nick Jones is hoping to complete the addition of two more unnamed players from the squad.
Church bounced back with a timely win at the weekend after their promotion ambitions were dented by defeats to Enville and league leaders Hereford City.
Newboy Rose hit 52no and with Neil Evans claiming six for 44 a straightforward victory was assured.
The result kept Alvechurch and Hopwood third, only 26 points adrift of the leaders and with second placed Belbroughton only one point ahead, Jones knows the second promotion spot is within reach with a win at the weekend.
Jones is hoping for another win at third from bottom Alveley on Saturday (2pm start) and could be set to don the gloves with regular wicketkeeper Malcolm Taylor unavailable.
