FOOTBALL fans are being urged to remain good humoured following England's crunch World Cup game against Brazil on Friday.
The plea comes after several reports of fighting in the town following Saturday's match, which saw England trounce Denmark 3-0.
Chief Insp John Molloy said most people had remained well-behaved throughout the World Cup.
On Saturday, extra officers were on patrol. They were first called to a report of a large fight shortly after 4pm.
Other fights and disorder were dealt with throughout the night.
