STAFF and pupils at a Redditch first school have been putting their hearts into training for a skipping challenge to help raise vital funds to fight heart and circulatory disease.
St George's First School is taking part in the British Heart Foundation Jump Off, a national event which over the last 10 years has raised more than £3 million.
The Jump Off, from 9am-2pm on Monday, aims to encourage children to skip in groups of six for a total of up to three hours.
Each group member jumps for two minutes, or until they tire, before passing the rope to the next person in the group.
