A BELATED Jubilee party, which was held in the Spa last week, bought bunting and smiles back to Droitwich.
Close to 50 people went along to the Salt Rock Caf, in Gurneys Lane, to a party which was organised by the Wychavon Tenants' Association in aid of the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
The event, which was held last Wednesday, saw people from all over the Spa come together, many of whom were elderly and were unable to get into the town over the Jubilee weekend.
Raffle tickets were handed out to everyone on entry and the person with the winning ticket got to be the Queen for the afternoon and also received tea for two at the caf.
Association member Sheila Neary said: "We had a fantastic time and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves."
The association has also recently received a reply from the Queen after the group sent a congratulations card to her for the Jubilee.
Any tenants who would like to go and see the reply can do so at the group's office in Queen Street, Droitwich.
