CHILDREN from Cutnall Green are brightening up the lives of elderly folk thanks to a successful gardening initiative.
Cutnall Green First School, in School Road, was given a bumper load of plants this year to grow and tend by Webbs of Wychbold, off the A38.
The petunias were given to residents at the Poplars, in Worcester Road, Wychbold, last Wednesday.
Headteacher Michele Humphreys said: "This is an excellent initiative and members of our voluntary garden club, run by a parent and the school's caretaker, have thoroughly enjoyed tending to the blooms."
