THIEVES who stole two radio transmitters from a haulage yard are having their transmissions monitored by the company they stole them from.
The theft happened in the early hours of Tuesday, June 4, from Allelys Transport of The Slough, Studley.
Lorries and articulated units in the yard, which borders onto Rough Hill Wood and the Crabbs Cross area, were broken into and a number of them damaged.
The thieves also stole two Motorola radio transmitters and a Motorola charger. The radios have black cases and six-inch flexible aerials.
Since the thefts, the transmitters have been used and Allelys Transport, which has been monitoring the radio transmissions, say they are probably still in the Studley or Redditch areas.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Pc Peter Gateley at Alcester Police on 01789 762207 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
