TWENTY bonsai trees worth a total of £20,000 were stolen from a Mappleborough Green garden centre last week.
It is the second time bonsai trees have been snatched from Hilliers Garden Centre, Henley Road, and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A police spokesman said the thieves forced a padlock to gain access to the area where the trees were stored and must have used some sort of vehicle to transport them.
Anyone with information can call Pc Peter Essex at Alcester police station on 01789 762207.
