Redditch fire station tops the tables across Hereford and Worcestershire for having to deal with the most blazes and carry out the most rescues.
Figures for the year ending on March 31 show the number of fires Redditch dealt with rose to 852 compared to 689 the year before.
Redditch also had the most hoax calls and false alarms but fire chiefs have already launched a number of initiatives to combat the problems.
Station Officer Pete Baker said the reason the figures were higher could be down to several reasons, including social issues.
But he said once the initiatives had been operating for a while, the figures should drop.
