VICTORIA and Blakeley Hall faced a tough test at home to Worcestershire Saturday League Division Three leaders Hereford City and lost by 45 runs.

Catching again let the Hoobrook-based team down though they managed to bowl out the visitors for 146 in 40 overs.

Price scored 40 and Mouler 32 but Paul Thomas gave the city side problems, taking four wickets.

The others were shared equally between Kevin Amos, Simon Cook and Kelvin Barrett.

Chasing an easy target in 60 overs should have been a formality but the batting fell apart, leaving Victoria second from bottom in the table.

Only Barrett's patient 28 offered any resistance, while the visitors' Phipps was their star bowler with 3-6 in 10 overs.
