STONE batted out a losing draw in their Worcestershire Saturday League Division Five visit to neighbours Cutnall Green.
Stone asked their hosts to bat first but Green's openers had put on 136 without loss when Neil Fletcher was caught behind by Adrian Blackledge for 88 off only 71 balls.
Their bowlers then enjoyed success with skipper Gary Bourke (3-29) taking his wickets in five overs.
However, Green still reached 211 by the close of their innings.
Stone's batsmen made steady progress through Mark Taylor (31) and Pete Glover (26) but never looked like threatening the target.
Green's Matt Harris (3-7) bowled a fine spell and helped limit Stone to 93 off the available overs.
Cutnall Green 211-4, Stone 93-4.
