A TEENAGE girl is in critical condition after being thrown over the bonnet of a car on a Worcester road.
The 14-year-old was taken to Bristol's Frenchay Hospital with head injuries after the collision outside the former Bell Inn in Droitwich Road at 6.54pm yesterday.
One traumatised eyewitness said the girl had run straight into the road before being in collision with the green Daewoo Lanos.
"She went straight over the bonnet and the rest of the car. I'm extremely shaken up by it," he said.
Droitwich Road was closed for three hours after the accident, from which the driver of the car escaped unharmed.
The injured teenager was initially taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital before being transferred to the Bristol hospital.
Anyone with information about the accident should call PC Julie Slater on 01905 723888, quoting c/597056.
