JUGGLING, tight-rope walking and unicycling were among some of the activities enjoyed by Worcestershire pupils as they took part in their annual sports day.

Pupils at Sytchampton Endowed First School, Sytchampton, near Droitwich, took part in circus skills as they celebrated the Queen's Golden Jubilee.

There was also a puppet show, morris dancing and country dancing on show.

"We had lots of traditional English things for the children," said headteacher Cynthia Evans.

"We were really patriotic. The children had a street party in the playground at lunchtime.

"It was a super day and really good fun. We were so fortunate with the weather."

The children rounded off the day with the reading out of a letter from the Queen's lady-in-waiting, thanking them for their giant card.
