A WORCESTER pharmacist is taking part in a project to help people move towards a healthier lifestyle.
Dr Hooman Ghalamkari, of the DG Pharmacy in Dines Green, is one of a group of British pharmacists selected to take part in the Vantage Health Watch initiative.
As part of the scheme, Dr Ghalamkari will be making sure patients take the right medicine at the right time and for the right reasons.
Monitoring
New services including blood pressure monitoring and prescription reviews will also be on offer.
Dr Ghalamkari said he was pleased to have been chosen as one of the scheme's participants.
"At DG Pharmacy we are all really looking forward to taking part in the Vantage Health Watch project," he said.
"It is great to be adding value for money for our customers through the introduction of more health services on their doorstep."
