PARISH COUNCIL: Items discussed at North and Middle Littleton Parish Council's latest meeting:
Flooding: A presentation was given by representatives from Severn Trent Water of work to be carried out later in the year to alleviate the flooding problem.
Post Office: There had been no confirmation from the Post Office that there was someone willing to run a village Post Office. The village hall committee had considered the situation and they have informed the parish council that they wish to withdraw from the project.
Litter and Dog Fouling Bins: These have still not been supplied by Wychavon although a questionnaire has been received requesting details of parish councils requirements.
Noticeboard, North Littleton: Prices are being sought for the provision of this and a suitable site is still being sought.
Volunteer Service: It was agreed to make a grant of £50 to this.
Graffiti: Concern was expressed regarding the nature of this in the bus shelter at the top of School Lane. It was agreed to re-paint the shelter.
Rights of Way: The necessary forms have been completed to claim the grant available from Worcestershire County Council for 2002.
Wooden Seat: The seat in the village hall grounds that had been vandalised is now being repaired.
