SWIMMING: Caroline Park, Amy Smith, Hannah Wear and Jodie Cook all won three events in the Wyre Forest Swimming Club Championships at Stourport pool.

The championships, attracting 200 entries for age groups from 11 upwards, were split into sprints with 50-metre races and a 4 by 25m individual medley.

Cook, Smith, Wear, Donna Wilson, Shelley Holden, Edward Ruscoe, Nick Carmichael, Adam Cotgrave, Richard Carter and Brett Webster all achieved competition best times on Sunday.

Wyre Forest entered two teams in Nuneaton Junior League third round on Saturday with the A team in Division One at Walsall and the Bs in Division Four at Leamington.

The first string, against some of the top Midlands squads, finished fourth overall with five first places.

The Bs took six first places for their fifth position.
