GOLF: Val Bow was the clear winner of the LGU June Medal at Wyre Forest Golf Club Ladies Section with Ros Hayward runner-up as both ladies scored twos on the 15th.
LGU Medal: Bow 88 gross 17 handicap 71 nett, Hayward 106-31-75, Margaret Ellor 103-26-77, Millie Whitmore 129-39-90.
Follow-on Stableford: Shirley Caldwell 37 points, Coleen Massey 31, Barbara Fascione 30, Jean Golden 28.
