JOHN Ingles and Steve Blight starred as Rushwick won by 128 runs at Gloucester City.
In a match reduced to 35 overs Rushwick slipped to 73-4 despite 28 from captain Tony Douglas, but a century stand between Gary Watkins (58) and Ingles pushed them to a formidable 249-5, Ingles' superb 102no containing eight sixes, four of which came in consecutive balls.
The home side never mastered the spin of Blight who had career- best figures of 8-41 off 15.4 overs, including the first seven wickets to fall. Watkins took 2-6 as Gloucester were dismissed for 95.
The seconds lost by eight wickets to Crowle, having recovered from 52-7 to make 137 all out despite an unbeaten 63 from Russ Blain.
The visitors knocked off the runs with ease, Ian Hope (53no) and David Bendall (51) the main scorers.
