Members visited Highgrove Garden on June 11, following an invitation from HRH The Prince of Wales.
Its tranquillity and beauty gave members an insight into the Prince's sincere thoughts about the environment.
The gardens are laid out in old parkland and woods, surrounding the original kitchen gardens, blending in to the Cotswold countryside.
The following evening, members visited more tall trees, but this time nearer home, at Bodenham Arboretum.
For the second time that week they commented on the tranquillity of the planting.
