President Pat Darby reported on her recent visit to the intermediate meeting at Brighton.
She said the resolutions on abattoirs and imported foods had been almost unanimously passed.
Pat had also enjoyed the group blossom walk.
Numbers were taken for the group jubilee party, and the skittles team was congratulated on coming second in the county matches. Wribbenhall also had firsts in the Petite Flower Arrangement and Preserves classes at the May Home Economics Rally.
Andy Hadley then gave a talk on badgers.
Over many years he had won the trust of local badgers so was able to photograph them with infra-red cameras at close quarters. He was a finalist in the BBC wild life photograph competition. He showed families playing together and living in close proximity to foxes.
On July 8 there will be a talk by Canon Geoffrey Brown on St Martin in the Fields. Visitors will be welcome.
