STUDENTS at Kiddermin-ster College are "going bananas" to further their studies.
The link-up with the Glades Leisure Centre is part of the college's strategy to develop stronger partnerships with local organisations in readiness for next year's move to the town centre. college students Gemma Warren, Steven Henworth and Kate Sly try out the Glades facilities.
Students on leisure and recreation courses and those studying for health and fitness and sports therapy diplomas will now have access to all of the Glades' facilities including the Banana gymnasium. They will also have the benefit of training from the Glades' experienced staff.
College spokeswoman Deborah Living said: "This is a great opportunity for students in Kidderminster and the courses are also an ideal access route for anyone seeking employment at the Glades as they provide the compulsory qualifications a job applicant would need to get to the interview stage."
