THE Friends of Evesham Church and Bell Tower are presenting Music For a Summer Evening, featuring the Cleeve Chorale, at All Saints' Church, Evesham, on Saturday at 7.30pm.
The choir comes from Bishops Cleeve and has been in existence since the late 1940s. The present conductor is Charles Jones, who was until recently organist and choir master at All Saints'.
Accompanist is John Wade and the programme includes contributions from Diana Nuttall, oboe, and Robin Hales, piano.
Tickets cost £6 (£5 concessions), including refreshments, and are available from Evesham Book Centre or on the door.
Dr Rex Colwell said: "The Friends exist to help preserve the fabric of these historic buildings and to promote interest in their history and to promote social events."
