PARISH COUNCIL: The Chairman, Coun L Stowe began the meeting by saying how sorry he was that Coun J Moss and C Hoggins refused to sign the Code of Conduct that is now required and that Mickleton Parish Council had adopted this procedure at the March meeting, but he hoped that if both councillors changed their minds they would be welcomed back. Both councillors sat with members of the public throughout the meeting. Coun Stowe went on to thank Coun Jim Moss who has served Mickleton Parish Council for 48 years, a truly great achievement and he will be greatly missed for his profound knowledge of Mickleton. Coun Chris Hoggins, who carried on from his late father, Johnnie Hoggins, was thanked also for his contributions and village knowledge. Before parish council matters could be proceeded with, Coun M Stowe said how disgusted he was with the requirements of the Code of Conduct, and left the meeting.

The overhanging trees and bushes have not yet received attention as promised.
Coun J Medlin was pleased to say that since the people have been spoken to when seen playing in the Junior Playing Fields, no more glass has been broken on the grassy area, though litter remains a problem.
Public Time: Mrs J Kinchin spoke on behalf of the VIP Group (Visually Impaired Persons) about overgrown hedges throughout the village, especially in Chapel Lane, Back Lane, Greyrick-Mill Lane and the High Street and asked the parish council for help by sending their 'agreed letter of complaint' to the offending householders.
Sub committees: Coun T Begg reported that showers were being installed at the Senior Playing Fields Pavilion.
AOB: Mrs E Thompson wrote to the council asking for financial help for the Loop system to be installed in King George's Hall. This was agreed to, but is on hold until the next meeting.
