MOVE over Anna Kournikova, the crown for sexiest person is up for grabs.
But, instead of being a reader's poll in a popular men's magazine, it will involve teachers.
Over the summer holidays, Worcestershire school pupils could be seeing their teachers strut their stuff on national television.
It's part of a series of programmes aiming to find Britain's sexiest teachers, builders, doctors, nurses, firefighters and airline cabin crew.
But how much of a problem could it be when classes resume in September?
Imagine a class of 30, equally split between boys and girls.
Their female teacher was seen on television wearing only a bathing suit.
Could this cause problems with exerting authority or will it be taken with a pinch of salt?
Harmless fun
I'd hope it would be treated as nothing more than harmless fun - after all, it would give the school some exposure too.
But how many teachers in our schools would put themselves up for national scrutiny?
At the end of the day, the teaching profession has appeared to be the one that doesn't take kindly to television exposure.
Remember Penny, the failed Big Brother 2 contestant, or the teacher who competed on Survivor?
Not only have they lost their slot in the public eye, but they found it difficult to slip back into normality.
Mind you, if any teachers from Worcestershire are taking part, I'm sure there won't be any shortage of people wanting to watch them and see if they make the grade.
