SOPHIE Williams has raced to a notable county double after claiming the Worcestershire Senior Girls' 1500m title last weekend.
The 18-year-old pupil of Prince Henry's High School finished Saturday's race ten seconds clear of her closest rival and she will now represent Worcestershire at Birmingham's Alexander Stadium this weekend.
Success capped a great year for the Honeybourne girl, a member of Worcester AC, who was crowned the county's senior cross-country champion earlier this year.
