SPECIAL Olympics tennis player Neil Samuels helped served up some top-quality treats in Worcester's latest snack outlet.
The 25-year-old from Worcester has just been selected for the Great Britain tennis team for the 2003 Special Olympics, aimed at those people with learning disabilities.
And he was on hand to officially open O'Briens Irish Sandwich Bar in Foregate Street, with delighted customers picking up snacks for a 50p bargain.
The O' Briens chain is one of the key sponsors of the Special Olympics and any fund-raising by the new store will benefit local athletes such as Neil.
Smoked salmon and cream cheese and a chicken and bacon triple-decker are just some of the tasty sandwiches on offer.
Franchisees Jayne Huntingdon and Andrew James are currently planning to open another O'Briens store later this year.
