A SHOW by Malvern Terrace Artists in Priory Park last Sunday (June 16) was a great success, say organisers.
The group of amateur artists exhibited around the bandstand in the park, while Malvern Hills District Brass Band provided the music.
Pat Claytor, of the group, said: Although it was warmish and dry, it was overcast and it was not the best weather for spreading out a picnic in the park. But it was pretty good all the same. A lot of people came up and thanked us.
"There were quite a few tourists about as well and they were very impressed with the whole scene. They came up to us and said how nice Malvern was."
The Terrace Artists are back in the park on Sunday, July 7. They will be holding their annual exhibition at Hanley Swan Village Hall on July 13-14.
