A TEDDY bears' picnic and fete is to take place at Levant Lodge, Earls Croome, at 2pm on Sunday (June 23).
The fete is the main event of the year to raise funds for the village church.
Mr Doo, stilt-walker, clown and juggler, will be the main attraction and bear-based games lined up for the event include Name the Teddy, Teddy History and Tell Your Teddy's Story.
Other attractions, such as a tombola, raffle, ball pond, Catch a Duck, bottle stall, bouncy castle, skittles and face painting will all be organised. Cake, produce, plant, toy, nearly new, book and china stalls will also be set up, and refreshments will be available.
"We do hope that many people will support us and have an enjoyable afternoon," said organiser Ruth Brown. People attending the fete are also being encouraged to support an open air Songs of Praise service at 4pm the same day at Waterside, Upton.
