TWO concerts entitled Music for a Summer's Evening are being staged at Upton Parish Church next week.
They will feature soprano Vanessa Ashbee and tenor Joe George, accompanied by Alan Johnston, on organ and piano, under the direction of Anthony Coupe.
Tippet's Negro Spirituals, Brahms' Clarinet Quintet and Haydn's Little Organ Mass are among the items on the programme.
The concerts, organised by Hanley Music, take place on Wednesday and Thursday (June 26 and 27) at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £5 adults, £3 concessions, available from Hanley Castle High School, Pepperpot Print, High Street, or on the door.
