With regard to your Opinion (May 17), as a ratepayer originally supportive of MTAG I am becoming increasingly concerned at the unfolding events.
I am beginning to question the motives behind Coun Ward's original campaign and calls for the referendum and resignation of the town council. It is increasingly rather rich for a member of MTAG and member of the first town council that voted through items which resulted in the commitments which require the current level of Council Tax under dispute. To have returned as a "knight in shining armour" claiming to be the saviour of our town is becoming questionable. I seek to be re-assured. What exactly is MTAG's long term vision for the town?
