A WALK on the Malvern Hills by students from Worcester College of Technology is thought to have raised around £450.
The 20 students, with two lecturers, undertook the
eight-mile walk in aid of Worcester
HomeStart for their course for the BTEC National Diploma in Early Childhood Studies.
They also plan to make a donation to the Soldiers', Sailors' and Air Force Association, after receiving help with planning their route from Sgt Richard Page, of Worcester Army Careers Office.
"It was a lovely day for the walk," said Sgt Page. "We started out from the Old Clock Tower in Link Top and ended up at British Camp, for refreshments.
"A lot of the girls had raised £20 or £30 in sponsorship."
